Celebrate Your Labor Day With BBQ!

Chances are, you’re probably counting down the days till Labor Day weekend.

This Labor Day, Market Square Park is hosting the perfect holiday event for Houston friends and families to enjoy!


On Monday, September 6th running from 4PM to 7PM, Market Square Park will be featuring a FREE live Labor Day event, complete with lawn games, live music, cold beer, and, of course, delicious barbecue. 


There will be plenty of different barbecue options for everyone, including Korean-style and vegetarian/vegan options. There will additionally be a watermelon-eating contest where guests will leave with a trophy and receive the official title of Downtown Champion! All in all, a perfect holiday package for anyone looking to take advantage of a great social opportunity, as well as kick back and relax on their Monday off! 


Downtown Houston is sure to be absolutely booming with plenty of other excellent Labor Day events. Locals will find that there’s no shortage of great things to do whenever a holiday rolls around.
