Halloween-themed events are always worthy of attention, especially if you’re a fan of the silly and spooky. When you combine it with the opportunity to do some actual good for people in need, that’s when things are REALLY worth it! Running from October 15th to October 30th, Scare For a Cure features Halloween special effects artists, set builders, audio and lighting techs, costume designers, make-up artists, and actors ready and waiting to welcome guests into the best haunted house event in the Austin area!  Participants will crawl, crouch, and interact with actors as they physically travel through the haunted house experience! There’s plenty of reasons to get excited if you’re living in the Austin area! Pioneer Farms, one of the best local living history museums in the region, is hosting its annual Pumpkin Nights event! At Pumpkin Nights, guests can venture along a half-mile walking path, where they’ll discover the Forbidden City, a Pirate’s Cove, and plenty of fantastical lands built using over 5,000 hand-carved real and artificial pumpkins.  It’s truly an amazing spectacle to behold as well as the perfect way to celebrate the spirit of the Halloween season!   Just in time for the Halloween season! Houston residents can now enjoy a spooktacular outing with the opening of Redrum Fear Park! Once guests enter the park, they’ll experience all the spooky seasonal thrills of the Halloween holiday, complete with four big attractions! These include Twisted Circus Rewired, Cinegore, Deadwood Asylum, and Redrum Lazer Fury. For anyone who loves a good scare, this is definitely the place to be! If there’s one thing I can’t recommend enough, it’s paying a visit to the Dallas Arboretum!  This amazing outdoor nature center is truly a spectacle to behold, as well as just a gorgeous feast for the senses. With its beautiful wildlife, flowers, and intricate nature displays, this place is absolutely jam-packed with plenty of excellent opportunities to get some much-needed fresh air.  Coming this Fall season, starting on September 18th and running all the way through the end of October, the Dallas Arboretum will be presenting its 16th annual Autumn at the Arboretum event! Presented by Reliant, this amazing Fall-themed event will host more than 90,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash throughout the famous Arboretum garden.  There will additionally be an amazing pumpkin village with a theme on bugs and insects.
