Blast From a Prehistoric Past: Live Dinosaurs In Dallas!
Ever wonder what would happen if your childhood desires come true?
Well if you’re a Dallas resident, you can now experience the magic of real dinosaurs. Well, maybe not too real. But real enough for all the old emotions to hit. On September 4th, visitors can travel back in time to visit some quality dinosaur animatronics at the 16th Annual Dinosaurs Live! Exhibit.
Guests can witness all their old favorites including the famous T-Rex, Dilophosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, Allosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Diabloceratops, Megalosaurus, Therizino, Utahraptor, and so much more! Whew, all those names certainly are a mouthful, aren’t they?
Guests also can enjoy an educational experience as well as learn plenty of interesting facts about both herbivore and carnivore dinosaurs. So if you have little ones that are excited to learn all they can about these amazing creatures, this is definitely an excellent opportunity for everyone. Plus, there will be plenty of photo opportunities, as well as stroller-friendly access to all areas of the event.
The event takes place at the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary in McKinney, Texas. McKinney is only a short drive away from the Dallas area so all Dallas residents, whether you’re living on the outskirts or at great local apartments like The Lure, The Muse, or Residence at Lake Highlands, can enjoy getting over to the museum with ease.
I’m an old-school dinosaur nut, in case you haven’t already figured out. So stuff like this just feels like a great way to take advantage of some nostalgia, as well as bring along all my younger family members to introduce the next generation. And with the opportunity to take some great photos with all your favorite dinosaurs, there’s tons of value to be had in taking home a cherished family memory.
The Heard Museum always has something great going on so I definitely recommend checking out their website HERE. You can also purchase your tickets here as well. Get ready for a roaring good time and head on out to a dino-stomping adventure for the ages!
