Four-Legged Fun At Houston’s Exclusive Pet Show!

The Houston Humane Society really does a ton of good work for the city. It seems like every other week, they’re putting out a ton of great events and announcements for Houstonians to participate in.

Now that Covid is finally starting to ebb, the Houston Humane Society will be presenting the Exclusive Pet Show! This is a special charity event that will feature a slew of fun things to see and do including dog show contests, live music, food trucks, a mix of local vendors, and plenty of prizes! For those who win the grand prize, they can receive a $2500 Exclusive Furniture shopping spree, as well as the chance to have their pet featured in Exclusive Furniture advertising.

The goal is to bring in your dog and submit them for judging. There will be different categories for your precious pup, including Best Dressed and Talent. All participants MUST provide proof of up-to-date Dog Vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella) and must be six months or older. All pets must remain on a leash and under the control of the owner at all times. There will be a $180 registration fee at the entrance that will include 2 tickets for Runway seating. The great thing is that all proceeds will directly benefit the Houston Humane Society and will help support the shelter’s mission to eliminate the cruelty, abuse, and overpopulation of animals.

Even if Fido doesn’t win any awards (He’ll ALWAYS be a winner regardless), you can definitely enjoy some of the great snacks and activities at this event. Even if you’re not registering a pet for the show, it’ll be great to just see all the different types of dogs and show your support to their owners.

The great part about living in Houston is that tons of its apartments are pet-friendly. Some of the best pet-friendly apartments can be found in Barcelona Apartments, Providence at Heights, Casa Del Mar, Tivoli at Vintage Park, and Village at Piney Point. You’ll find plenty of space there, as well as an assortment of dog parks for your pups to enjoy.

The Houston Humane Society really does some good work and I think this event is definitely worth a visit if only to see some wagging tails and great prizes. If you’re looking for additional information about this event, please check out this handy link HERE

Now that’s what I call a doggone good day of fun!
