At The Movies In Austin!

Movies are probably my real, true love in life. Especially the classics. 

Now I could bore you to tears with a long-winded lecture about why you’re obligated as a human being to experience classic cinema for yourself, but I’ll save some time and just say this much--they’re good. REALLY good. And even if the old black and white style isn’t part of the mainstream anymore, it’s still nonetheless an important means of experiencing the films that shaped the course of cinema as we know it today. 


For Austin residents, the time has come to fully experience the beauty of classic cinema, along with plenty of assorted favorites, under the glow of the legendary Paramount Theatre. Running throughout the summer all the way to August, guests can attend a screening of some of the best films that cinema has to offer, from Psycho to Jaws to Sunset Boulevard, and more! Even modern classics like Get Out will be making an appearance as well.


Austin’s Paramount Theatre is one of the most interesting relics of cinema’s golden age, a stylish Goliath of a theater with a huge legacy behind every corner. This place is truly the climate in which film is meant to be celebrated and enjoyed. And if you’re living at my favorite Austin properties including Treehouse Apartments, Northstar, and Falls on Bull Creek, you can easily take advantage of quick commutes over to the theater with ease! 


Tickets for each film event should run around $8 to $14 per screening.
