Welcome to Houston’s Comicpalooza!

 In one month, Houston will have a reason to geek out to the very fullest.

That’s right. After a year of delay thanks to Covid, I can happily say that Houston’s very own Comicpalooza is on its way! What is Comicpalooza? Think of it as Houston’s version of Comic-Con; an amazing opportunity to celebrate all your favorite film, show, and game franchises wrapped together in one great pop-culture festival experience! This festival has it all--everything from celebrity guests, shopping opportunities, costumes, and unforgettable experiences you’ll never forget.


Don’t play coy. We’re all nerds deep, DEEP down on the inside. And whether you’re a fan of Star Wars, Mario, Star Trek, Marvel, and more, this convention will always have you covered when it comes to sweet merch and other like-minded fans of your favorite franchises. Seeing celebrities there is always a real treat and this year’s event is poised to feature some big names in geek history including Ron Perlman, Mario Lopez, Christopher Sabat, Sean Schemmel, Giancarlo Esposito, and more! Whether you’re looking for some exclusive collectibles or if you’re just looking to gawk at some of the truly imaginative costumes (“Cosplay” for the uninitiated), this is the perfect experience just for you and your friends.


Houston has always been the best place to call home for me, especially when it comes to experiences such as this. While I hated missing out during Covid season last year, I’m really glad that things are finally starting to pick back up again! If you’re living at great local Houston apartments like The Broadmead, Capewood, Casa Del Mar, Tivoli at Vintage, and Champions Green Apartments, you can definitely expect easy commutes over to this event when it opens up in July. 


Comicpalooza runs from July 17th through July 18th. This is a HUGE event for Houston so you can expect tickets to sell out pretty quickly.
